hi qu well, nothing really definitive is showing up for me. just a few references to memory, as in either mem leak or needing to reseat your memory sticks. but it probably would help if you provided a few more details such as what you are doing (or trying to do) when you encounter the 'blue screen of death'. you did well in providing the precise error message, but so far i have not been able to run anything down. thecow is the resident master at nailing these error messages. :) mark
