Steven,

I too am a great believer in MACD to determine trend. It is at the heart of my CCI/MACD system (CCI being first indicator to change direction). Other componets are +/-DMI, RSI and Rel Str versus S&P-500. Will be discussing this system in detail at the upcoming gathering in Jersey.
