That's great news !!! Sure hope we get a photo a bit later. I wonder what all the armchair quarterbacks want to do now. Maybe tie it in tonight and produce to the spot market tomorrow, hey !! LOL !!! My sincere congratulations to the JV. Their recent decision to deepen ~250 feet below the last casing string demonstrates that they do indeed have a pretty good handle on the geology in the "upper" Temblor. I'm sure that with just a couple more deep holes they'll develop comparable "control" for the "lower" zones. VERY NICELY DONE, GUYS !!! Hopefully they'll now regain control and be able to drill through this "BIG MOTHER". Then Santa can bring them a beautiful suite of open hole logs, some nice sidewall cores, a 4-1/2" liner cemented in place, and huge incremental bookable reserves !!! Hot damn !!! Whoooppee !!
