in a perfect world, no. in our world, which consists of imperfect applications, imperfect os's, imperfect drivers, and imperfect hardware, the answer is a resounding yes.

Let's make sure I have that right: Intel will do ok as long as it doesn't compete on market share with AMD? And if, in a fit of sheer rage, Intel decides to -- gasp -- compete with AMD, then what, pray tell, will happen? Or, to put my response more succinctly: "you and what army?"
