I'm not sure I understand your question. The State of the Union is a legal document required by the Constitution. Lying in this legal document would seem to be the biggest crime a president could commit and yet Reagan lied about balancing the budget with tax cuts. Bush lied about WMDs. Trump lied about everything.

If you're concerned about lies, why not begin there? A bj lie is nothing. You'll never change my mind since it's not a sane argument.
