You are very welcomed. Looked over them and thought all were very suited for each.

Oh, I have been here reading all the posts. Have been cleaning up my office and been surrounded by lots of papers and getting all the year end matters taken care of. I know we are going forward to a paperless society, but I seem to save every piece of paper that comes in and my files are bulging from that. My new years resolution is to clean out my files, store them and start anew. Wish me good luck..... My problem is when I start cleaning out, I start reading what I filed and get involved in some of the things that occurred way back when and that is so time consuming. Our CPA loves us as she always knows I have a copy of everything going back forever.

Speaking of words, when I drew the words last night, I was somewhat surprised at the ones I drew for myself.....peace, play, fortune. Darn I should have run over to the casino today as that had to be an omen. Had such good luck the last time I went thought I'd let some time pass by before going again. I know they just want the money back that I won and sending me all these free offers to come back. Very tempting, but that money was spent for good causes and it helped pay for my new car. With my gambling friends and family my motto has always been, "Suitcase packed, let's go".

My son and DIL went over to the Horseshoe last Wednesday and also did very well. They had called me to go with them, but I was out buying a car and replacing some worn out things in my office, such as a calculator and a copy machine. Got everything home and started reading manuals and thank goodness my grandson dropped by and helped me install that copy machine. Came with disks to hook up to my computer and not one of those plug in and use things. Think I need to go back to school as technology is becoming more and more advanced somewhat beyond my comprehension, it seems. Going on the theory that you are never too old to learn. Yeah, I believe that...lol Guess I can blame it on just plain old laziness in my old age or instant gratification like so many of our kids today feel. Wouldn't it be a perfect world if we could all be born with all the knowledge we learned from our mistakes and work back to our early youth again. Yep, that would be great perhaps, but then again could be a scary thing especially explaining to our children what occurred in our lives. Wonder if they would listen or just plain laugh at us. Can just hear them say, "Oh Mom, that was not cool at all. Quit living in the future"....!!!

We were invited to a annual party last night and my husband looked at me and said, "Do you really want to go out tonight"? My answer was "No". So we enjoyed a quiet dinner in with our oldest son dropping by to join us and watched the clock, said our Happy New Years and waited for our other kids to call as they do every year and went to bed being safe from all the drunks that would be on the road when we came home if we had gone. We didn't even watch the ball come down in New York at their celebration. Used to never miss it whether at a party or at home. Oh, well there is always 2007 New Years Eve to look forward to.
