Something is up with Turbo Genset / Global as they are up 40% since I got in a couple days ago and keep pushing through historical highs.

I sent a letter to Turbo Genset and they said they couldn't say anything:

"We remain in contact with Global Thermoelectric but are restricted by Stock Exchange rules from commenting further in this matter unless and until a Press Release has been agreed by both companies.

It would be proper to add that we are in discussions with a number of other companies for a variety of business reasons, all of which are covered by the same rules."

I don't know how to interpret that.

I assume the original intent was just to represent them in North America, but it seems there could be some synergies with the fuel cell.

I was really interested to realise they are doing automotive work.

From their web page:

"Projects concluded include pioneering a hybrid passenger vehicle using our proprietary axial flux high speed generator driven by a gas turbine engine as the prime mover. This environmentally friendly series hybrid vehicle used a battery pack as energy storage. We are presently contracted by the European Commission to develop a series hybrid powertrain based on our turbogenerator technology and a flywheel system for bus and light rail type applications. Extensive simulation software has also been developed and used to assess the viability of series and parallel electric hybrid powertrains for military and civilian applications. We offer training and product familiarisation at our Heathrow headquarters and at customer premises."

The market knows something is up and the fact that they have experience with using their system in an automotive application makes me really suspicious.

It could be something wierd like the simulation software or some other unannounced product that GLE is after.

Any thoughts?
