Man are we active or what?
Yep Mark and jas.. everyone's awaitng big news. What we think we feel now are tremors before the quake. Actually, news about the Great Stuff Network is of little consequence. The site's sort of a "beta" toy for experiment, feedback, demonstration, information, whatever, purposes. Steven's statements about risk and "competition" as such are prudent enough. Nevertheless, the Wave Meter hardware and its several advantages are rather obvious (not just to tech wiz kids like G. Gilder) and will become more so with the technology's marketing and adoption - which is where we're at now. Yes, there can be no assurance the sun will rise tomorrow... but I'm kinda expecting it to anyways. Wave Systems didn't spend some 40 million to get this far and be beat out by a "better idea." The only way the "competition" might come along and catch up with the model of e-commerce innovation and broad industry focus represented by the business objectives of Wave Systems is to steal the technology and the ground work being laid by us. Right now, the "competition" is just watching.
Sincerely yours, Marty |
