Look. I'm an Ironworker. Some jobs make me wear a harness. I hate them. So do most other Ironworkers. They constrict motion. They could give one a false sense of security. They are uncomfortable. I'm a better ironworker without a harness on. I would much rather I be allowed to decide when I'm in a situation that warrants there use. And yet, on some jobs I wear a harness. I could go on. I won't. I get it. All the various sides of it. And I read the article you linked when it was first published. ARS
