To All,

I agree with the general consus on this thread --- internet security for transactions will be
THE dominant internet topic for some time to come, and fingerprint identification systems
seem to be a market that is going to explode.

This may not hold much water, but intuition says that if I were a paranoid user of
information technology, I would trust a biometric identification system over any other internet security mechanism (not to knock
Netscape or anything like that!)

I have also spent considerable amount of time wading through information on National
Registry Inc. (NRID). They also look like a company just emerging from their development phase (several quarters of losses
related to development costs and acquistions) and it looks like they are poised to take off. They have several partnerships in the works
and also have contracts from state governments. Nothing of the caliber of
standard certification by the FBI like IDX has, and nothing as major as a partnership with Oracle.....but NRIDs stock is at 1 23/32..... so it looks like a bargain.

In markets that have the potential that biometric identification has, I think the rising
tide will lift all boats....

Any opinions on what IDXs earnings are going to be in their next quarter, and if at 13
it is a good buy?

Thanks
g
