ReDOX Prepares To Launch State-of-the-Art Software, To Expand the Power of Personal Computers
HOUSTON, Jan 8, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- ReDOX Technology Corporation (OTCBB:RDOX) is proud to announce that it has secured the exclusive licensing worldwide marketing rights to a break through PC performance software. The new software, currently coded as Onsler e2001, will be bundled with the anti-piracy software, Divine Logic, of which ReDOX has already secured worldwide rights.
The company anticipates that this proprietary software, coupled with hard drive and memory improvements, will enable PC users to double the speed and increase the hard drive capacity of personal computers and laptops. Onsler e2001 will provide users with an affordable alternative to PC upgrades by obtaining 1+ GHz (Gigahertz) performance from their 400-500MHz computers. The software is equally compatible for Laptop and notebook upgrades.
The features of Onsler e2001 enhances PC's by:
-- Doubling the Processing Speed -- Increasing Read-Write Speed of the HD by 5X -- Doubling Storage Capacity -- Upgrades V-RAM -- Upgrades Ordinary Keyboard to Multi-Media Ready Keyboard
Minimum hardware requirements for Onsler e2001 are a 486 Processor, 8 MB of RAM, a 25 MB Hard Disk and a VGA monitor.
The software, a seven-year development project and benchmark tested in India has been tested successfully on hundreds of systems. Onsler e2001 will also be bench marked in the United States and those results will be made available at the ReDox Web site upon completion. ReDOX expects shipping to begin by the end of the first quarter 2001.
"We believe that this new software technology will prove to be of immense value to manufacturers and consumers alike," Said Richard Szymanski, CEO of ReDOX. "Computer manufacturers and distributors of these unique software products will realize maximum sales returns without the risk of lost revenues due to bootlegged copies. This also represents a break though for consumers who want more capacity and speed yet cannot afford to purchase a brand new system. Onsler e2001 will be a tremendous asset to PC users and enable them to get the most from their machines."
Divine Logic, the anti-piracy software announced in September of 2000, will be incorporated into Onsler e2001, making obsolete unauthorized reproduction. The anti-piracy software will also be sold separately to manufacturers |
