Dan, a bitter lesson. I'm sorry. I'm thinking almost the same thing, about some other stocks: oh, if I only had sold! ... I don't think EDO is a Microsoft. Nevertheless, a run-up is a run-up ... in EDO's case, and for my general education, I'm trying to figure out how long it takes for "news" to affect a price, or how soon the "news" gets "absorbed" into the price. Or, just what kind of news really yanks it. Earnings news seems to mean little or nothing unless an "analyst" presents it on a silver platter. Since the news on EDO was not mass-media it may be only "word-of-mouth" that works. EDO is not a household name --like Zenith, Microsoft, Motorola--whose prices respond to news instantly.
