I was thumbing through the software shelf at a local Fred Meyer here in remote Alaska and came across Digiphone Deluxe for $79 plus. Packaging was pretty impressive too. Made me wonder if there may well still be hope for this product and its promised updates. An interesting marketing feature was the inclusion of two sets of software so one could hook up with a distant friend. Curious what kind of technical support presently exists for those who choose the CAML product over the various other competitors. My gut feeling is that CAML still has a chance to make it big with this product if they can somehow get market dominance (something that seems to have eleuded their competitors as well to date) which would follow from developing a truly superior product. Does the company have enough cash in its coffers to have decent R&D ongoing?
