Sweden: Muslim rioter who screamed ‘If you do not want Islam, why did you bring us here, you stray dogs?’ is charged

An update on this story. “The Koran woman and twelve others are charged with rioting,” translated from “Korankvinnan och tolv andra åtalas för upplopp,” Fria Tider, May 5, 2021:
DOMESTIC. The prosecutor has today prosecuted twelve men and a woman for crimes in connection with the violent riots around Amiralsgatan in Malmö on 28-29 August 2020. Already eight others have been convicted of participation in the riot.
Three people are charged with inciting violent riots and ten people are charged with violent rioting. Three of the accused were under 18 at the time.
One of the accused is a 58-year-old Arab woman who, according to the indictment, “agitated against the police, led a crowd in rhyme and then carrying a torch led the angry crowd towards the police to incite the crowd to violent riot”.
According to a video from the incident, the woman shouted, among other things, that the police were “dogs” and “pigs” and that they had “conspired” with the people who violated the Koran.
– If you do not want Islam, why did you bring us here, you stray dogs? she shouted, too.
The violent riot started after a planned demonstration with the Danish party leader Rasmus Paludan where it was announced that a Koran burning would take place.
The demonstration was stopped, but rumors and dissatisfaction with the police’s handling led to a Muslim mob gathering around Amiralsgatan.
The riot led to material damage of several million, including damage to about 20 police cars. 15 policemen were injured during the riot.
