no, the clown free zone was started by a guy named lucretius and it originally was not moderated...both were based on a thread called 'myth of the big kahuna', which was a thread set up for broken bears many of whom were ultimately right about a tech wreck but way too early...for some reason kis used to always post to the thread header. here given its clam clam, who is not active, it doesn't matter, but lucretius didn't like it...there were other issues...kis ain't the easiest guy to get along with, but as hj says, he had input...
