DUNCE, the founders of the country believed in "freedom OF religion", not "freedom FROM religion". There's a huge difference. Not very religious myself, but find the company of people of faith much more enjoyable than secular regressives. In fact, those of a strident secular stripe make a religion out of their lack of faith.
