Hmmmmm.....so 2 months credit for 8 million users @ 19.95 a month.

That comes out to $319,200,000 in refunds


You must always read things AOL says very carefully. Notice the words Up To :)

Stripped down, what AOL is offering is to go back for December and January and recalculate your bill at $2.50/hr. If you used over about 7 hours per month, you get no refund.

AOL also slipped in at the last minute the "option" to take a Free Month of service instead of cash - Similar to going into a restaurant, getting spoiled meat, and the manager asking if you would like more spoiled meat to make up for it.
