If Republicans think Democrats are going to just let them have a coup, they’re sadly mistaken. All hell will break loose. “The Republicans are laying the groundwork to refuse to certify a 2024 Democratic presidential victory should the GOP hold a House majority.”

@perrybaconjr

I am alarmed. I see 1. a political party radicalizing against multi-racial democracy 2. intense polarization ensuring that party can keep and even grow its power 3. institutions and 4. another party that don't seem up to taking on the radicalizing party. washingtonpost.com

2/ Don’t get me wrong, I think Perry is right. The Republicans are preparing to overthrow our duly elected government. But I honestly think they think Democrats will sit back and, very angrily, accept it. In fact, I think it’s going to lead to violence all around.

@aravosis

3/ Meaning, Mitch McConnell is sorely mistaken if he thinks half the country is going to peacefully sit back and watch a coup d’état take place. I am really worried about what’s coming in the next few years. The Republicans are setting us up for violence on a massive scale.
