I don't care if Bob wants to leave up only those posts that he likes and takes down others. However, he should have stated his policy openly and then stuck with it. His TOS were pretty short and very general and I saw posts removed that I didn't think violated them in any way.

This is what I remember. Its been awhile so this is my best recollection.

I believe others have speculated it was one person editing posts. Since that person has to sleep and eat, it would be reasonable if some posts stayed up for hours before being taken down.

I didn't really believe the post-deletion thing either until I noticed it myself. On one memorable occasion, there were a large number of negative posts going up in a short amount of time. I guess the editor was on because they came down quickly as well. I remember thinking it was like looking at footprints in wet sand.

I don't object to a private company censoring their site. I do object to it being done without warning, in secret and with the net result to create a misleading atmosphere (intentional or not I dont' know). If the Q trade hadn't gone so badly awry, I suspect the censoring would have been mild and that the boards would still be up.
