I don't get the objection or the "big brother" aspect because cameras are every where any way and everyone knows it.

That's a reason for the "big brother" objection as much as it is a reason against it.

Some people might see a slight increase in something they dislike and say "its small, it doesn't really matter". Others might see that the level of what they dislike is already so big, that its a lost cause, so why care so much?

But some would look at a slight increase from a small level, and see that its still a small level so they don't care, why they would look at a slight increase from a large level as the straw that broke the camels back.

Or to put it another way they might say "now it is a heap"
