I realize many strongly desire to blame every problem in the world on America, however, it's not America's responsibility to keep U.N. members corruption free. They actually have a responsibility themselves.

You're correct in this sense though, we should stop supporting the organization and tell them to move the headquarters to Geneva if they don't fully investigate the "OILGATE" corruption scandal.

But to answer your point, free Iraqi citizens will build their own country. In a similar way as the Japanese and Germans did after our conquest there. Did the U.S. build Germany via the Marshall plan, or did German citizens build Germany into the wonderful place it is today?
