Softlink Introduces eMail inChorus for the Macintosh;
Macintosh Users Can Now Send Multimedia-Rich
Email Messages to Friends, Family and Business
Associates

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 20, 1999--Softlink, Inc. (OTC BB:SFLK)
today announced availability, on the Macintosh platform, of its multimedia email
software, eMail inChorus(TM). inChorus enhances regular text-based email
messages giving users the ability to synchronize voice and annotations with
graphics and animation.

eMail inChorus lets Macintosh users compose high-impact email used to present
ideas, share experiences, and personalize their on-line communication. Users
can record quality voice messages that play simultaneously with full visual
presentations, as if users are standing in front of a whiteboard giving a live
presentation. The easy-to-use software provides templates for message creation,
or lets users design their own. Photos, screen captured visual images from any
Macintosh application, and browser-located graphics can be inserted for single or
multi-page presentations, enabling designers and advertisers to visually share
their work or ideas within email messages.

"Because it is the easiest way to connect to the Web, the iMac is the Internet
computer," said Clent Richardson, Apple's vice president of Worldwide Developer
Relations. "With inChorus, Macintosh customers who use email can easily add
their voice, graphics and animation to the text. Macintosh users can
communicate with friends, family and associates in new and innovative ways."

Softlink's proprietary compression technology dramatically reduces the size of
inChorus multimedia messages -- at a rate of approximately 50:1 over similar
packages. Users need not worry that messages composed with inChorus will
impact their email servers. A free player, which serves as a read-only viewer, is
included with the first multimedia message users receive. The small 240K player
then remains on their system to play back any other inChorus messages sent via
email.

"Bringing the eMail inChorus product to the Macintosh user community has been
a top priority for Softlink," said William Yuan, President of Softlink, Inc. "This
community is known for graphics and multimedia savvy - eMail inChorus will give
them a vehicle for incorporating rich multimedia into their work and personal
communications."

Pricing and Availability

eMail inChorus is priced at 49.95 and can be purchased at the company Web
site, www.inChorus.com. eMail inChorus is also available now at such retailers as
MicroCenter, Office Max, Fry's Electronics, and Electronic Boutique.
