Oddly enough, Msft needs to copy an innovator to become more successful. Oddly enough, without Apple, I think Msft is in trouble. They really have no one else to copy. Amelio's thrust is in the wrong place for both firms. I really think it is the future network computer machines, but I don't know which ones, yet. If I did, I would invest there. That is why I suggest Apple concentrate more on s/w instead of hardware, but that sure isn't their current focus, now.
