I don't know if sbc has a deal with any of the dbs cos, but dbs would be offered as part of a full package to compete with cable. That would mean phone, wireless, tv (satellite) all on one bill. That is why Ameritech (SBC) would be interested. Look at what bell south is doing with 27 inch dishes. Just speculation on my part, as a holder of bce.
