I just googled the guy's lawyer and there were some things I thought were a tad peculiar. He's listed as "Executive Director" of "Legal Affairs Council" which doesn't seem to actually exist.

On the other hand, putting fliers into student mailboxes proselytizing for your church and sending letters to students' parents complaining that you were fired seems a tad peculiar, too.

Just a peculiar story all around.

Reminds me of when Farris was running for governor. He was accused of being against teaching fairy tales, so in his hospitality suite he had a TV with a VCR playing Disney movies based on fairy tales like Snow White and Sleeping Beauty.

I thought it was very peculiar that the objection had been raised, and very peculiar that Farris thought it had to be addressed. Just one more example of how politics and religion can make a bad mix.

But I do like him very much as a person.
