Dan, You don't seem to have exactly been following the thread, Joe. Gays in the military has come up. You are right, I did skip some posts to catch up. But still, I am not sure why you are comparing W's ban on funding abortion related spending with Clinton's policy on gays in the military, rather than Clinton's policy on spending federal tax dollars on support of abortion.
