I named pc makers cause Intel makes the main thing inside. The sales came cause everyone wanted that chip. Go to Best Buy or Circuit City. The non tech people go "I want a Pentium." They are absoluletly clueless as to what the thing is. Someone could sell them a 286 and slap a Pentium sticker on the outside and they'd love it.
