Leo: CS is the one I was thinking of. It has excellent fundamentals, is focused on the Intranet, and ranks #4 after CSCO, 3COM, and Bay Networks.

The only downside for making a deal is that it has a high level on insider ownership, and they may hold out for too high a price.

I don't know if alliances will be enough to get CPQ to $40 billion by 2000.
