some more on the other coast search.mit.edu:8765/query.html?qt=collaborative+filtering this stuff has been looked at by academics for a long time and there are multiple approaches, including someone just building from scratch...3 people, one year, about $300,000 custom if you contract 3 people, nine months $500,000 custom and faster thanks for the url...good background ynot :)
