"Yeah, I read that yesterday, watched the stock do well for most of the day (did great considering the carnage), and now today, it's getting slammed hard because now everyone is worried that the trade volume will be less because of the Nasdaq tanking." I agree with this statement. I was a registered rep with Schwab during the 1990 market selloff. After the initial break, the phone calls completely stopped. This went on for a couple of months and Schwab's earnings suffered. The stock fell significantly with the rest of the market. If I had a short time horizon, I would sell this stock.
