Oh, come now. As Neo said, everyone knew that bubble would burst. At least everyone who knows anything about markets. That was not the first bubble, nor will it be the last. Bush didn't create it, nor did he burst it.

Remember AG and the interest rate increases all through 1999 and 2000? You think maybe that had something to do with this?

Just for the record, the market top was in March 2000. Bill Clinton was President. The election was not held until November 2000.

And it's Bush's fault? How?
