Good point. Star Wars is a huge boondoggle, intended primarily to raise money for Bush's military contractor buddies in Texas.

I disagree with your opinion about missile defenses but we have all ready been over that. In any cases missile defense spending is only a small part of the total spending by the government.

As with all Republican tax cuts, 90% of the cut goes to 10% of the population. Heck, the children can pay off the debt.

That is fair because more then 90% of income tax revenue comes from the 10% of the population. If you are so conserned about the debt what areas would you cut spending in? (besides missile defense you've all ready mentioned that but its to small a part of federal spending to really do the job)
