I think the company needs to issue a clarification of what they require from shareholders who were issued stock.

I can't believe that shares that were issued by the Transfer Agent were not recorded by them. I can understand that they want to get paid, and that's fine.

But maybe I'm lacking some understanding of the transfer agent business, but I thought it was their job to track who was issued shares and to whom those shares are traded via trading records.. I understand that DTCC does this as well..

But the main thing should be when those shares were issued, some kind of record should have been generated that exists outside of the company. After all, why would they need a TA if the company was responsible for recording all share issuances and trading activity?

So I guess I need to educate myself a bit more on the responsibilities of a TA..
