Perhaps Abby was suggesting that it wouldn't be wise to expect the multiple expansion to go on forever. That further increases will be more dependent upon actual earnings increases than just demand for the current leader.

LOL. Hasn't anyone told her that stock prices have been rising a little faster than earnings for the last (I forget) how many years.

I think if stock prices reverted back to rising only as fast as earnings, we might be in a bear market... :)
