Bill,
Congrats on your June 20th call...

I also don't think that the final P is in...actually, I suspect that what we saw today is probably a good indication of what is to come...
that is, the small caps are finally going to outperform the stocks that have been chased up through last Friday (DOW and large cap Nasdaq100's). The Dow was down 2.5%, the Russell only ~0.75%. That's a big difference. Many of these small caps and even the mid caps have been beaten up and have been in their own bear market for nearly 12 months...It is quite possible that a shift of funds is continuing from the Dow and Nasdaq100's into the small and midcaps..If that is the case, we could see a drastic cut in the Dow followed by a flattening period while the small and midcaps enter into the beginning of their next bull run.
I think this scenario could play out especially since I don't think the economy is going to hell in a handbasket...thereby allowing the small caps to continue their earnings growth.
BTW, please not that when I say small caps , I mean those that have earnings or great earnings potential...some have been crushed and left behind in the past year because thier businesses have been taken by bigger and better competitors...these stocks will continue to be stagnant and some will go bankrupt.

Just some thoughts...
