To paraphrase the legendary Sir John Templeton, "The time to buy is at the point of maximum pessimism". You are correct in that we are now at that point. I am now looking to buy LEAPS, rather than tie up money in the equity. It will take time to turn public opinion around to embrace a less punitive attitude toward the tobacco industries. It will take even more time to convince the politicians that a bankrupt industry cannot pay blackmail money--it's called 'killing the golden goose'. RAREBIRD is correct--this is a clearcut BUY signal. Robert S. Sheldon
