Yes, true, and the taxes are much higher here as well, so the "raw" gas prices is a smaller percentage of the total. That means the CPI is going to get harder to cook as we go forward. THe us is most impacted by rises in crude since it is more "leveraged" to the price of crude... Thought i heard that "leverage to the price of ..." somewhere else...? Gold threads maybe ...
