The latest U.S. sales data from NPD suggests Apple's Mac sales were up 5 percent year over year during the March quarter, a number lower than some have expected.

Gone are the days when Apple's fortunes and stock price are tied to Mac sales. It's all about the iPhone and iPad now.

As long as Mac sales aren't drastically lower, I don't see this as a problem at all.
