#1 in Customer Service (Again) Nice to see Dish ranked #1 in customer service again by JD Powers' report today. That should score another nice article with Customer Reports this fall. With the recent trend reversal, I believe DISH will see significant gains by the end of the year. - Recent launch of Echostar VI holds 1 of only 3 available coveted spots that can cover the entire US - 2-way Internet service will be offered by the end of 2000. Improved 2-way internet technology will be available at a later time and is literally years ahead of the competition. - Expansion of local station coverage will continue, helping to bring in more new subscribers - DBS providers continue to outprice digital cable. - Hardware technology offers "convenience" selling points to customers such as all-in-one tuner-dvd-cd-player and TiVo-like DishPlayer. - Profitable before 2002.
