lLC, that is a great question. I have not heard fo any substitutes. One thing I keep imagining however are the amount of cars, appliances and large metals structures needing to be rust proofed as the world modernizes.

The whole world is buidling infrastructure like never before. I think I have mentioned 20% of the worlds large cranes are in the Dubai area engaged in 1 trillion in construction.

Besides China and India, Russia and Brazil are building like crazy.

I sure am watching the LME zinc stocks with great interest. There must be a lot of low inventories and one would expect some panic buying soon.

Remember, about 18 months ago Japan increased the price they would pay for steel 71% overnight to ensure adequate supplies for their car industry.
