Had not thought about galvinized metal roofs. I would think cement would be more expensive than metal and as such not much competition as a substitute. But that may be wrong. Cement hardy plank siding is about the best there is. I am not fasmiliar with a cement roffing product, but I can see that.

Still, I think the world sucks up the remaining zinc enough to push prices over $2.

For the next couple of years at least I think the world fights over zinc. And this is an economic paradigm shift of major proportions.

The countries of the world are competing economically like never before. I believe each countries central banks will provide enough liquidity to protect their indutries.

Let the chips fall where they may.
