Leverage and gold in ground is not always what attracts people to a stock. They would rather bet with Doyle Brunson than an unknown like Ed Thorpe. My money is oft on Thorpe et al. Street money is hellish hard to find, and brokers are the last people for body to want to depend on. They make most of the plays with their insiders. A real bunch of spoilers. I understand the market and its skittishness, but it is very frustrating.
