I agree, left boston in 66 everyone else still there. g

Even my mother told my wife to take the kids and stay with her until i settled down. g

Nobody could understand leaving the area for a job. it is not much different elsewhere. I would recommend we hire from colleges which required a kid to move to our office area (at least the move test had been met). vs hiring locally where they said if the opportunity came along they would move. However, i had a boss who was a grad of penn state and love Penn state so we hired a lot from there and very few ever moved. If i was a parent i would have been disappointed to see the cost of an education being wasted on such talent. They kids would prefer to stay in an analyst position or first line supvr position than relocate to much higher positions.

We have a lot of talent in this country but it doesn't mean we want to use it to the best of our abilities. A lot of other factors come along.
