"IRAN & SYRIA … THE BEAT GOES ON [Andy McCarthy]
The Guardian reports on yet another weapons shipment from Iran to Iraq being intercepted by the Brits. The incident – which has angered the Brits enough that they have confronted Teheran directly – is the second such incident in the last two weeks, which have been among the bloodiest for American and Coalition forces since Saddam’s regime fell. But the paper reports a British official saying “he thought such smuggling from Iran was infrequent and trivial compared with the weapons going into Iraq from Syria.” It also notes that the “US has been protesting for the past two years over alleged Iranian meddling in Iraq.” "
