I haven't been writing puts because I don't keep that much cash around in taxable accounts. When prices look good I buy - knowing I am probably not buying at the bottom but just accepting that I don't have the visibility to find it. I think the put writing strategy is a good one for a taxable account. Right now my taxable account is loaded with intel leaps.
