* OT * fp scientist, I have to disagree with you about manual recounting being the best way to solve this election fiasco, as human error and bias can be even worse than "machine noise"..... And that is now becoming very obvious, as almost all "lost & found" votes are coming out in Gore's favor in an extremely one sided manner! To put it in not so polite terms, one side is now trying their best to steal the election most unfortunately, and if they succeed, this sad event will have serious negative repercussions on our society for many years to come.
