They might be able to raise the age of eligiblity for SS but that's tenuous at best. Most likely it will collapse in about 15 years...as the younger generation refuses to pay.

Thats what I think the two most likely cuts are (raising the retirement age and a total collapse). Actually another posibility would be to change the rules about adjustments for inflation so as to slowly erode the value of the SS check.
