Bush had a recession begin early in his presidency and late in his presidency. Obama had a recession that started before he was president. Bush had a recovery in between. The recovery this time has been very delayed and week. Presidents get too much credit and blame for the economy, but to the extent your going to supply blame, the current economy is Obama's now. He's been president for too long to pass it off on to Bush any more.
