we have huge natural gas fields of Carolina and it is closed. it was in the bill to open it up and offer big time bucks to the states in order to get them to go along.

this got taken out of the bill while middle class and poor will starve with high heating bills for the comings winters.

These people have no understanding of why their bills are so high. they think big oil vs looking at their local congressmen and environmental lobby.

It would take less time to drill and open up these fields than drill in Alaska. Perhaps we could find large deposits of gas off atlantic coast and gulf coast around florida and get it into production in a few years.

I think the energy bill stinks. We are giving away tons of bucks to oil industry at a time of WINDFALL profits. Oil industry doesn't need tax incentives to drill.
