The dark side of having an online computer terminal in the store:

-- Customers will use it to comparison shop for similar merchandise at Tommy Hilfiger, Gap, or Gadzooks.
-- Customers will price shop to see if Buy.com offers same merchandise at a bigger discount.
-- Online customers will charge the merchandise to the credit card number they just found in the store trash.
-- Hacker customers will find ways to return merchandise bought online to the online store and the real store at the same time.
-- Customers will hog all the terminal time waiting for the hot PacSun clothes they're about to sell on eBay at 30% premiums so they know how many units to buy to satisfy the demand.
-- At PSUN stores with two or more terminals, the 'dirty old men' customers will ruin store productivity by long cybering sessions with that gorgeous young sales clerk.
